Izetbegović: We will not enter into government with SNSD, we will vote for all dismissals and initiate them

(Patria) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) will not enter into any adventures, we are not entering into government, said the president of SDA Bakir Izetbegović in an interview for the Federal Television program "Mreža" tonight.

Izetbegović stated that the question for the Troika (SDP, NIP, Naša stranka) is why they entered into government with SNSD in the first place and why they gave that party everything they did.

- And now when they say they will remove them from power, they have already given 90 percent of the positions they can no longer take back, they have enabled the entire structure for SNSD and HDZ that they did not have before.

And why now? Because the 2026 elections are already in sight and they need a quarrel with SNSD, they need political points now.

When both sides needed positions and appointments of hundreds of people, they cooperated and lied to themselves and us that Dodik had changed, that things would be good, that we would progress on the European path - says Izetbegović.

When asked by the show's host if this means that nothing will come of removing SNSD from power, Izetbegović says that with the help of SDA, a part of it will probably be removed - at the very top, while what is deeper, which is perhaps more important, will remain.

He also commented on the statements of NIP leader Elmedin Konaković that he will "cleanse SNSD cadres with a bulldozer" by saying "just ignore what Konaković is saying", reports Patria.

- Konaković says one thing one day, another the next. It hasn't been five days since he mocked Sabina Ćudić's childish idea to go after SNSD.

And then when he miscalculated, when he saw that it was time for a conflict with SNSD, he tries to become the main attacker, the commander of that attack on SNSD.

In the end, Konaković is a man who changes his views, practically a fickle politician who should never have reached the position he was elected to - emphasizes Izetbegović.

One of the questions was also how the Troika plans to erase SNSD cadres from the Council of Ministers of BiH, the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament... with an eraser.

- I don't see that the Troika can do anything there. Without SDA, neither Radmanović nor Nešić would have been dismissed. And we also saw that when dismissals were on the agenda, successfully carried out in joint committees, the representative of NIP, Kemal Ademović, abstained.

SDA carried it out. Therefore, the Troika can do nothing without the international community, without SDA. And we want to help change everything in that rotten structure.

SDA will support all dismissals that come on the agenda, and will also initiate them - emphasizes Izetbegović.

When asked if SDA will be part of the government at the state level, Izetbegović answered "I wouldn't say so".

- Until the attitude of the actors completely changes, until the plans to attack BiH cease, until mature policies and politicians arrive, to ensure security, stability, peace, economic development, progress on the European path, SDA will not enter into any adventures. We can only participate in removing all of that, demolishing it, and then rebuilding from scratch - adds Izetbegović.

Asked why the Troika accuses SDA of saving Dodik, he replied with "these are the lies of politicians - blame others for what you are doing".

- You will be convinced that SDA will remain principled to the end - there is no support or cooperation with those who are making plans to destroy BiH. Currently, we will certainly not enter into government with SNSD.

Even if SNSD were to change now, to do a *salto mortale* a year and a half before the elections, I don't believe it. They will persist in their policies. We will certainly not be with such people - added Izetbegović, reports Patria.
