Izetbegović: We will not vote for Helez's dismissal, he is a "fuse" in the Council of Ministers and the only one who opposed Dodik

This fog will dissipate very quickly, and then SDA will take new steps, said SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović in an interview for Stav, responding to the question of why they are seeking the dismissal of only Konaković, and not other ministers or the entire Council of Ministers?

Izetbegović also commented on SNSD's request for the dismissal of the Minister of Defence, Zukan Helez.

When asked if SDA will vote for his dismissal, the SDA president said, "No".

"Helez's vote is a kind of "fuse" in the Council of Ministers. Despite all his flaws, he has shown that, unlike Konaković, he is not willing to blindly follow the orders of Dodik and Čović. He was the only one to publicly oppose the SDP voting for SNSD's fourth delegate in the state House of Peoples, the only one to react to Dodik's cursing of genocide in Konjic," Izetbegović stated.

Regarding the possibility of SDA entering government at the state level, Izetbegović says: "For a coalition of SDA with SNSD and HDZ to happen again, it would be necessary for SNSD to abandon anti-state policies, and for HDZ to abandon the subservient partner, the Trojka, which has fulfilled many of their wishes so far, but there are still unfulfilled promises. I do not believe that either of these conditions will be met. Therefore, the chances are almost nil."
