Izetbegović: Bosniaks will not pull the cart while others hold the steering wheel, it is time for us to take control

(Patria) - A ceremonial academy in the Multimedia Hall of the Hadžići Municipality marked the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Municipal Organization of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Hadžići.

The academy was also attended by SDA President Bakir Izetbegović, who in the introduction of his address reminded that the SDA has won all elections in this municipality, and that it is one of the strongholds that Bosnian-Herzegovinian patriots have held onto for years.



- This term, in which we were forcibly thrown out of power and the Troika was installed through violence against the Constitution, should help set things right with voters across BiH.

The incompetence and inability of the Troika will force people to look back and rightly ask what would have happened if the SDA had not been there in critical moments of recent history, if decisions had been made by the Troika, which could not fix the railway in Jablanica for two months.

What would have happened in 1990 when it was necessary to oppose communist uniformity, risk freedom, arrests and prisons, or in 1992 when it was necessary to oppose a far superior enemy, or in 1995 when it was necessary to rebuild the state and care for hundreds of thousands of people who lost their breadwinners, health, jobs?

How did the SDA manage to turn the devastated Sarajevo into a city to be proud of, a cultural metropolis, an economy that accumulates more profit than the entire RS entity - said Izetbegović.

He stated that the Federation during the mandate of Fadil Novalić, compared to the RS entity, seemed like West Germany compared to East Germany.

- A resident of the FBiH was twice less in debt, and their purchasing power was three times higher. Unfortunately, that trend is weakening. Consumption is growing in the RS, while the FBiH is going into debt - Izetbegović stated.

Speaking about the results of the work of the current FBiH Government and the officials holding power in this term, Izetbegović also mentioned Deputy Prime Minister Vojin Mijatović, a former member of the SNSD.

- The man is doing the job he came here for. He works for the RS. He was once an advisor to Dodik, now it seems Dodik is his advisor. The FBiH is slowly sinking.

Bosniaks, led by the SDA, must show that they are not naive, that they do not belong in jokes about Mujo and Suljo, that they do not accept the shovel of Alija Sirotanović while others wear ties.

It is time for us to open our eyes, to prove ourselves to ourselves, not to someone else - Izetbegović said.



He added that Bosniaks contribute the most to accumulating the revenues on which the state and its institutions function.

- Two-thirds of the funds come from territories where Bosniaks are the majority, and then Bosniaks accept one-third of the power in the state. They give two-thirds of the money, but are satisfied with one-third of the power. The numbers are relentless.

Bosniaks are in the country named after them and for which they fought and bled, unequal in everything except indictments. There they lead. They persecute defenders. This must come to an end. Bosniaks will not pull the cart while others hold the steering wheel. It is time for us to take control - Izetbegović said.

Izetbegović also said that the governments led by the SDA progressed in everything, sometimes faster, sometimes slower, until October 2022 and the arrival of the Troika.

- Then the downhill slide began, delays, blockades, crises, enormous borrowing, price increases, uncertainty, humiliation - added the SDA President.

He emphasized that the international community's attitude towards the SDA is rapidly changing, which, among other things, is confirmed by increasingly frequent contacts and meetings with international officials.

He also commented on the attempts by Troika officials to take credit for the removal of Milorad Dodik from the position of President of the RS entity.

- They insult people's intelligence. They strengthened Dodik, were servile towards him, gave him strength and positions, and now claim they will defeat him. Dodik, if defeated, defeated himself.

He forced the judiciary, the OHR and the international community to oppose him. Among other things, he reported himself - Izetbegović stated.



Earlier, Izetbegović held a meeting with the President of the SDA Municipal Board Hadžići, Adi Kalem, the Mayor of the Municipality, Eldar Čomor, and elected SDA councilors in the Municipal Council.
