Izetbegović: At the 2019 Congress, not before, with one large body to elect the SDA president

Bakir Izetbegović, the SDA leader, said tonight on TV1 that the four SDA representatives (Salko Sokolović, Sadik Ahmetović, Senad Šepić and Šemsudin Mehmedović) have not left any paper anywhere in which they announced their exit from the SDA Club in the State Parliament, Patria reports.

Izetbegović also answered the question: "Are the criticisms of the four SDA representatives justified?"

-         Did all four sign that anywhere? Two of them did not support the budget. Sometimes they support, sometimes they don't, sometimes they cooperate, sometimes they don't. What we discussed with them earlier, I think it is very close to putting such things on paper, only it happened that something that should have been internal came out in public, which then creates nervousness.

I proposed that at the next Congress in 2019, not before, because this structure will remain until then, we come out with one large body that will elect the president and vice-president, with several thousand people, where you cannot make any fraud. In 2018, lists for various levels of government will be made, and there must be people who received a significant number of votes in the last elections. I don't see a problem there and we are ready to cooperate. The vice-presidents from SDA had meetings with Mehmedović and Sokolović. I met with Mr. Ahmetović a few times and I think we will handle this matter so that the majority of them remain in the SDA Club – said Izetbegović.

We remind you, Osman Brka, who was a member of all convocations of the Main Board since the founding of the party, in which he also participated, recently said that he believes there are many problems in the party, and that to solve them it is necessary to organize an extraordinary Congress. However, judging by Izetbegović's statement, that will not happen.

Izetbegović also claimed that FETO is certainly a terrorist organization because it engaged in a bloody military coup in which nearly 300 people lost their lives and who knows who else would have been killed if they had succeeded in their intentions.

- What they are in Bosnia and Herzegovina, time will tell. We have been warned for years that they are what they are, that under the guise of caring for poor students and charitable work, the intention is hidden to come to power by any means. To infiltrate people into the system who will take over power, just as they tried in Istanbul. Bosnia and Herzegovina should monitor the work of these people. At the same time, Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country governed by the rule of law and will not take measures against anyone without reason, and we will not engage in anything illegal, but we certainly must pay attention to the warnings that resulted in what happened in Turkey - Izetbegović emphasized for TV1.
