Izetbegović: Konaković is an arrogant, incompetent ignoramus prone to betrayal

(Patria) - Arrogant Elemedin Konaković, who, by feigning excessive self-confidence, hides a lack of character and knowledge, invites me to "go through the Draft Reform Agenda paragraph by paragraph with him on camera" which BiH should send to the European Commission.

In doing so, he uses the usual arsenal of untruths, spins, and insults against the SDA, myself, and other representatives of the pro-Bosnian opposition, stated SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović today on his Facebook profile.

According to him, Konaković is once again showing that he is always ready to attack the pro-Bosnian structure, while maintaining a condescending and subservient attitude towards SNSD and HDZ.

"He attacks the SDA and patriotic politicians whenever he gives in to Dodik and Čović, or when his ignorance clearly endangers the interests of the state.

He diverts attention from permanent betrayals, big or small, on which he builds his political career, by creating conflict.

And now, when he and the other servants of the SNSD-HDZ alliance have once again given in and retreated before the demands from the RS entity, the opposition is to blame again. We have seen this many times before.

In this way, he evades responsibility, because otherwise he would have to explain to the citizens which demands Dodik has abandoned compared to the version of the document that the RS entity previously rejected, and which is now acceptable to him. The answer is - none.

On the contrary, Dodik got literally everything he insisted on. And the Trio delivered it all to him, and it involves a few hundred text amendments.

They are ready to set the country back in order to have material for their own PR campaigns.

The SDA has teams of expert people who monitor all processes in the country, including the drafting of the Reform Agenda. And there is no price for which they are willing to meet anyone's ultimatums that are contrary to the interests of the state.

Konaković has shown that he is ready for that, clearly paying a debt to his partners in power, who - as Dodik himself testifies - 'brought him into the ministerial chair'.

Attempts to reduce important state and political issues to personal levels and relationships through 'debates on camera' only further underscore his inadequacy for the position he holds.

After all, serious political issues, which include constitutional and legal solutions, can be discussed with professional, educated, and serious people, and certainly not with a person who has a suspiciously obtained diploma from the Faculty of Physical Education, and who pretends to know 'everything about everything'.

Konaković will, 'paragraph by paragraph', sooner or later, have to explain to the public and the competent authorities the ambiguities about his education, the process of suspicious diploma acquisition, bankrupt companies and unpaid debts after bankruptcy, favoritism towards businessmen during his time as Prime Minister of KS, and especially about his role in the SKY application and his connections with the drug cartel, as well as the motives for surrendering and selling the country's interests to Dodik and Čović", Izetbegović stated.
