SARAJevo, (Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović today received High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko. The current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed, with an emphasis on the deteriorated security situation and the process of completing the formation of government.
One of the topics of discussion was the timeline for government formation. Izetbegović said that the FBiH Government can be formed immediately, and the Council of Ministers very quickly, if an agreement is reached on submitting the Annual National Programme for the MAP to Brussels.
The interlocutors agreed on the issue of unilateral moves by the RS entity regarding the formation of a reserve police force, and that it would be best for everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina not to continue with this process. Izetbegović emphasized that if RS does not halt these actions, the Federation will be forced to respond strongly by implementing the already initiated strengthening of its own police forces, the SDA announced.
