Izetbegović and Čović: BiH Council of Ministers can be formed in May

SARAJevo, Mostar, (Patria) - SDA President Bakir Izetbegović told reporters today that the new Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Federation of BiH will be formed in the next two months.

"I think we will reach some compromises in May and that the Council of Ministers and the Federal Government will be formed, that we will complete this entire structure in the next two months. We need to find a way to activate the Action Plan, and I think we are close to that. To find some compromise and move towards stabilizing the situation and relations in BiH," said Izetbegović.

A similar statement was made by the president of HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, in Mostar, where a session of the HNS was held.

"The only problem that arises is how to activate the MAP, but it seems to me that we have a solution there too. I will not state a precise date, but I think we will have a new convocation of the Council of Ministers in May. As for these other levels of government, we will strive primarily with partners from Sarajevo to agree on electoral legislation and all other activities concerning BiH's European agenda. I hope we will do that in the next two or three months. If we don't succeed, we will look for other solutions," said Čović.
