Izetbegović congratulates on Eid: Let us be with the Muslims of Palestine in our thoughts and prayers

(Patria) - SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović today congratulated Kurban-Bajram to the Rais al-ulama of the Islamic Community in BiH Husein ef. Kavazović and Muslims in our country and diaspora.

"Dear Rais al-ulama Kavazović, I extend my sincerest congratulations to you, as well as to all Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina, neighboring countries, and the diaspora, on the occasion of the upcoming Kurban-Bajram.

Kurban-Bajram symbolizes the readiness to sacrifice in the name of God, reminds us of the moral values we should follow, and is an opportunity to show our empathy again and offer help to those in need.

Let us be with our pilgrims in our thoughts, to whom I wish good health and a blessed Hajj.

Let us especially be with the Muslims of Palestine in our thoughts and prayers, who are facing severe violence and persecution this Kurban-Bajram as well.

I wish that we spend the Eid holidays in peace, unity, health, and prosperity, together with our families, friends, and neighbors - Bajram šerif mubarek olsun," said Izetebgović.
