Izetbegović: Results pending for three patients

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Results are currently pending for three patients in Sarajevo to determine if they are positive for coronavirus, confirmed KCUS General Director Sebija Izetbegović for FTV.

"We are happy that we do not have a single case, and I hope this case for which we are awaiting results will be negative," Izetbegović said. 

She pointed out that a patient can have coronavirus without showing any symptoms, but asked patients not to come to healthcare facilities.

"The worst-case scenario is for the virus to enter a healthcare facility, for doctors, staff, and patients," Izetbegović said.

The Director of KCUS previously told BHT that the Podhrastovi clinic is fully equipped to receive infected patients, should there be any. 

"We are fully capacitated to respond to everything," Izetbegović said.
