Izetbegović would prefer Željka over Mladen in the BiH Presidency

Bakir Izetbegović, candidate of the Party of Democratic Action for a member of the BiH Presidency, stated in an interview with "Nezavisne novine" from Banja Luka that he supports the election of Željka Cvijanović, a candidate from Milorad Dodik's party, to the BiH Presidency, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

When asked who he would prefer to see in the BiH Presidency among the candidates of Serb ethnicity, Cvijanović or Mladen Ivanić, Izetbegović gave preference to the current Prime Minister of Republika Srpska.

- A lady would be a refreshment in the BiH Presidency. Of course, there will be pre-election rhetoric in the style of Milorad Dodik, about some returning of competencies from the state to RS, etc. But Željka is a pragmatic person, and I am sure that as soon as the elections are over, she will continue on the path that SNSD took when we made progress in the country. The main reforms, the creation and strengthening of state institutions, the unification of the armed forces and the security sector, all of this was done with the support of SNSD – said Izetbegović, reports NAP.
