Electoral engineering: 30 KM for a vote in the elections, paid on the spot with a photo

As the General Elections approach (these will be of great significance according to many analyses), party maneuvering and lobbying of voters to give their vote precisely to them also begin, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Thus, for several days now, individuals have been sending private messages to friends and acquaintances on social networks, offering 30 KM for a vote in the elections for candidates. As stated in the "offer", the voter's only obligation is to photograph their identity card next to the name of the "ordered" candidate, and payment is made on the spot.

As the Patria agency unofficially learned, in several cases, these were candidates for the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton.

The Central Election Commission of BiH (CIK BiH) explained that it is not forbidden to bring mobile phones to the polling station, but the voting process must not be disrupted.

This is just one indicator of how far political parties are willing to go to achieve their goals, and it is certain that there will be more such and similar examples before the elections on October 12, the only question is whether they will be spoken about publicly, writes Patria.
