Electoral Democracy or Something Else: How Ajnadžić Remains Alone on the Pole?

"Electoral democracy last night and this morning. Is there any difference? Something is strange to me. And to you?" – a post circulating on Facebook, with a picture showing a pole photographed in the afternoon of September 28th, and photographed on the morning of September 29th, writes Patria.

On the same pole, posters of Nedžad Ajnadžić, SDA and SBB candidate for the mayor of Centar Municipality Sarajevo, and Samer Rešidat, candidate for mayor of Centar, and Edin Abdurahmanović, DF candidate for the Municipal Council, were placed. This is how the electricity pole looked on September 28th, and then in the morning, the DF candidates' posters were removed, but Ajnadžić was left to "hang" there.

Thus, the citizens of Centar rightly wondered if there is electoral democracy and for whom the communal inspectors of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs are working, who, based on their authority under the Law on Communal Cleanliness, remove illegal posters.

Otherwise, so far they have issued 63 decisions to political entities to remove posters from unauthorized locations within 24 hours, in order to prevent improper posting in the Sarajevo Canton.
