Elections without billboards: Give the money to those affected by floods

The floods that hit Bosnia and Herzegovina in May and August caused immeasurable damage to the population, and millions of marks will be necessary for the rehabilitation of houses, landslides, and the normalization of life, writes the Patria news agency.

Thus, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) has launched a campaign calling on other parties to redirect pre-election campaign funds to finance the construction of houses and aid for the flood-affected population.

- The money intended for candidate promotion through billboards can be used more humanely - stated in the SDP campaign, which is spreading via Facebook and sponsored pages on the internet.

It is hard to believe that this year we will not see candidates for the General Elections on billboards, but it is certain that parties should reconsider unnecessary spending during the campaign.
