Konaković's election as prime minister would mean SDA in Sarajevo has united

The decision on the candidate for the mandate-holder for the new composition of the Sarajevo Canton Government, which the SDA Collegium is expected to make today and then be confirmed by the party's Presidency, will show whether animosities are deepening within the Cantonal Committee of SDA or if this committee has finally united, writes the Patria News Agency.

One of the members of the SDA Presidency, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Patria that the choice of candidate will reveal which faction is stronger.

That is, whether some people will finally realize that there is no need for mutual settling of scores and continue working together to strengthen SDA.  

-If Dino Konaković were accepted as a candidate, it would mean that the divisions and quarrels that have been shaking the strongest SDA committee in the country for a long time have been overcome.

If it is not Konaković, then it will mean that the strongest, most experienced, and best candidate for cantonal prime minister has no chance solely due to the personal interests of individuals and is only collateral damage to the faction led by Aljoša Čampara and Denis Zvizdić, our source explains.

Among the candidates is also Jasmin Bučo, one of the executive directors at JP Autoceste FBiH, and former director of Sarajevo Airport, Bakir Karahasanović.
