Refugees buy "death threats" to get asylum

The refugee crisis has opened a new lucrative market, this time with Taliban death threats, writes the German "Bild", reports the Patria News Agency.

-Last warning to you. We have decided to kill you, it says on an A4 sheet, issued on the orders of Taliban leader Mullah Omar, who, however, has long been dead.

"Bild" also checked how such a "document" is obtained.

Through the mediation of a man named Mohamed, reporter Paul Ronćajmer received a "death sentence" in a cafe in Kabul in just four days, a paper with a death threat issued in his name.

Anyone who hands such a paper to the authorities of an EU country can more easily get asylum, because they allegedly have proof that their life is in danger. Mohamed told the "Bild" journalist that for 1,000 euros, anyone can buy such a threatening letter from the Taliban, and that hundreds have already been issued.
