Islamic Community in BiH allocates 50,000 KM for migrants

Concerned about the situation regarding the migrant crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the condition of migrants, and in the hope of alleviating their suffering even a little, the Riasat of the Islamic Community (IZ) in Bosnia and Herzegovina today decided to allocate 50,000 KM for the needs of migrant accommodation.

The funds will be realized through Merhamet and the Red Cross of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Also, the Riasat allocated 100,000 KM, and these funds will be sent to the Mešihat of the IZ in Croatia. The funds are intended as assistance to those affected and suffering from the earthquake that struck parts of neighboring and friendly Croatia.

This is the first emergency funding the Islamic Community is allocating on this occasion, expecting that more significant funds will be collected for the aid of our neighbors during the collection planned for tomorrow, after the Friday prayer.
