First group of pilgrims departs Sarajevo for Medina

This morning at 7:30 AM, the first group of pilgrims departed for Medina on a direct flight to perform the Hajj. Before boarding the plane, the pilgrims gathered at the Fahd Mosque in Sarajevo, from where they were organized to go to the airport. Nezim Halilović Muderris, head of the Hajj and Umrah Office, addressed the attendees at the Fahd Mosque, providing specific instructions for the journey and stating that professional staff will be waiting for them in Medina to escort them from the airport to a hotel near the Prophet's Mosque (a.s.), reports the Patria agency.

The envoy of the Sarajevo Mufti, Ferid-ef. Dautović, who led the morning prayer, wished the pilgrims a safe journey and stay. The Ikrar prayer was recited by Izet ef. Čamdžić. Several more groups will depart for Medina today.
