Around 11:30, the body of 20-year-old Amila Hasanović, who yesterday drove her VW Polo into the Bosna River on the road between Visoko and Kakanj, was pulled out, the Bosnian news agency Patria learns.
The car was first pulled to the shore with the help of a crane. The search resumed early this morning because it had to be suspended in the afternoon on Monday due to darkness.
The car was located on inaccessible terrain, and the girl's body was found afterwards. In addition to divers, firefighters with their boat, as well as a large number of police officers, were involved in the operation to retrieve the victim.
Members of the Criminal Police Department of the ZDK Ministry of Interior will conduct an investigation to determine all the circumstances of this event.
Incidentally, Hasanović is known to the wider public for participating in the music show "Zvijezda možeš biti ti" on TV Hayat in the 2013/2014 season.
