Workers of the public utility company Park are clearing snow at thirty locations in Sarajevo Canton, and they are asking citizens to help them shake snow off trees located near their homes.
The snow that has not stopped falling since last night in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina has accumulated more than ten cm in Sarajevo. The snow is heavy, and branches of trees are breaking under its load.
Park states that every saved tree during the winter means a more pleasant living environment, and therefore it is very important for all citizens to get involved in saving trees during snowfall.
