HDZ and the "Trojka" remove SBiH and DF from Commission to secure majority for Marin Vukoja!

(Patria) - The House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament's Election and Appointment Commission is to be amended to continue with the "Vukoja operation".

It has been proposed that instead of two members from opposition parties, two new members from the ruling majority be appointed. Elzina Pirić (PDA) will be appointed instead of Edina Gabela (SBiH), and Petar Galić (HNS) will join the Commission instead of Dajana Čolić (DF).

In this way, the "Trojka" (Troika) and HDZ will establish control over the Commission, which will allow only one name to be presented to the deputies regarding the election of a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

Haris Silajdžić, a representative of the Party of BiH in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, announced on X that this will enable the "principled representatives" Damir Mašić, Aner Žuljević, and Dragan Mioković to be outvoted, and thus propose only one name to the Parliament for the Constitutional Court instead of a list.

Interestingly, Irfan Durić from NES is also on the Commission, but there is no proposal to remove him from the Commission, even though this party has fewer representatives in the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament than DF.

The Commission has 11 members, and two seats are vacant after two representatives took on other functions and left the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament.

The Commission members are: Mladen Bošković (HDZ, HSS SR, HSS, HSP), Damir Mašić (SDP), Aner Žuljević (SDP), Irfan Durić (NES), Edina Gabela (SBiH), Dragan Mioković (Our Party), Rasim Smajlović (Povjerenje, NIP, SPU), Eldar Čomor (SDA), Dajana Čolić (DF Željko Komšić).
