Gas station owned by a party colleague of Mandić, for whom he issued a permit, disappears from the conceptual design for Koševo stadium

(Patria) - The Centar Municipal Council yesterday adopted the Decision on accepting the gift - the urban planning project of the spatial unit of the "Asim Ferhatović Hase" stadium in Koševo - the conceptual architectural and urban planning solution, offered by the Football Club Sarajevo Association.

The grateful mayor Srđan Mandić (Our Party) yesterday stated that he expects and counts on the help of all levels of government in the realization of this extremely important project.

However, he could not answer the question we asked him, or at least not explain it fully!? Namely, at first glance at the conceptual design, it is evident that the EOL Petrol gas station, owned by Indira Pašović, a member of Our Party, for whom Mandić issued the construction permit, is not marked.



“The project solution presented at yesterday's extraordinary session of the Municipal Council related exclusively to the Olympic Stadium Asim Ferhatović-Hase spatial unit with the entrance area to the stadium, and therefore the plot related to the gas station was excluded.

We note that the Municipality of Centar is not the client of this project and that answers to all questions related to the presented conceptual solution can be provided by the designer and FK Sarajevo,” the Centar Municipality told Patria.

The claim from the Municipality is not entirely true, as indicated by a photograph of the conceptual design, which also includes the street where the gas station is located, and according to the solution, trees are planted in its place!?

Otherwise, Pašović was a candidate for Our Party in the 2018 elections for the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She won a modest 1,633 votes in her electoral unit and was nowhere near being elected to Parliament.

The construction of this gas station met with disapproval from citizens, as well as some environmental organizations that warned that the kindergarten “Razigrani dani” and the Jezero mosque are located in the immediate vicinity, as well as the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education.



Nevertheless, the Municipality of Centar issued all the necessary permits to this company.
