Energoinvest claims normal gas flow disrupted due to a fault, but that is not quite the case!

(Patria) - Energoinvest, d.d. - Sarajevo announced that this morning at 4 a.m. a fault occurred on the gas transport route through Bulgaria, disrupting the normal gas flow.

The fault repair is underway, but it is not yet known when supply will be normalized.

“As this may lead to a drop in pressure in the gas system in BiH, we have informed consumers about it and asked them to rationalize consumption and all those who have the possibility to switch to alternative energy sources such as district heating plants, i.e., to make the switch in order to keep the system operational as long as possible. Once the fault is repaired, consumers will be notified and the supply system will be normalized,” Energoinvest stated.

In the scheme we are publishing, point 6 shows the gas supply from the TurkStream. They are regularly supplied. In addition, they also receive gas from point 3 Ukraine and point 1 Austria.

This is the result of TurkStream for BiH, without alternatives and only one supply route. We remind you that yesterday, MP Sanela Klarić also spoke out, among other things, stating that the Southern Interconnection was halted so that we would depend on these situations.

Incidentally, the district heating plants have already switched to mazut and heating oil, which is visible in the morning photos, with thick black smoke billowing from the boiler rooms.
