Ivo Josipović on "white bread"

"It is true! Officials dismissed on February 18, 2015, have activated their right to compensation after leaving office. This applies to Ivo Josipović, Zlatko Gareljić, Saša Perković, Tamara Obradović Mazal, Zrinka Vrbec Mojzeš, Danica Juričić Spasović, Maja Kocijan, Danja Šilović Karić, Lea Šiljak, Ana Šimudža, and Petra Furdek," confirmed Luka Đurić, spokesperson for President Kolinda Grabar Kitarović, for Index.

Namely, Josipović and his associates will receive their full salary for the next six months, and half salary for the subsequent six months. The so-called "white bread" is enabled by law, according to the right to official compensation. Josipović will thus receive a full salary of 23 thousand kuna for half a year, while, for example, his former chief of staff Danisa Juričić Spasović will receive 18 thousand kuna, which was her salary as head of Josipović's cabinet.
