Ivanić in Portorož: Leaders of Southeast Europe Gathered

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanić addressed high-ranking guests at the panel "New Deal for a New Era" within the "Summit of 100 Leaders of Southeast Europe", which is being held in Portorož, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Chairman Ivanić emphasized that regional cooperation can contribute to accelerating development, stating that regional association and entering larger markets directly affect increased exports and strengthening the economy.

Speaking about the current situation in BiH, Chairman Ivanić stressed that the new government structures are committed to changing the country's image and creating a sense of security for new investments, which can also accelerate the process of European integration.

In his address to officials, Chairman Ivanić assessed that based on the new European initiative, there is a greater degree of unity in BiH than before. The plan of the Presidency of BiH, according to him, is a confirmation of BiH's European commitment, and based on the Statement of the Presidency of BiH, the Stabilization and Association Agreement was approved, which entered into force today, June 1st.
