Ivanić receives delegation of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of the PRC

Member of the BiH Presidency Mladen Ivanić received a delegation of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of the PRC led by Vice Chairman Mao Peihu

Member of the BiH Presidency Mladen Ivanić expressed satisfaction at the beginning of the meeting with the visit of the high delegation from the friendly PRC, with the conviction that it will contribute to the improvement of already good bilateral relations.

Mr. Peihu thanked for the reception and expressed hope that the deep and traditionally friendly relations and cooperation will continue to improve in all fields of common interest.

Political relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and China can be assessed as very good and without open issues, it was said during the meeting. Mutual interest was highlighted to continue improving cooperation in the areas of tourism, infrastructure and energy, where there is evident enormous potential.

Satisfaction was expressed with the upward trajectory of the development of economic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and China, especially within the framework of the "16 plus 1" mechanism. Further strengthening of overall relations is considered one of the foreign policy priorities of both countries, it was concluded at the meeting.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to BiH Chen Bo.

On behalf of the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Dr. Dragan Čović, the meeting was attended by advisor Tugomir Tuljak, and on behalf of the member of the BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović, the meeting was attended by advisor Damir Džanko.
