Ivanić: Nikolić not coming to BiH due to poor relations with Izetbegović

Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanić stated that it is not realistic for a visit of Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić to Sarajevo and the Presidency of BiH to be organized before the presidential elections in Serbia, due to Presidency member Bakir Izetbegović, Patria reports.

Ivanić noted that he and Presidency member Dragan Čović have a more than cordial relationship with Nikolić, but that the relations between Izetbegović and Nikolić are not good.

As he assessed, the attack on Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić in Potočari and the fact that BiH did nothing in the investigation contributed significantly to this. Also, according to his words, it is not normal that President Nikolić's visit was canceled due to the arrest of Naser Orić.

-That is uncultured, says Ivanić, adding that representatives of Bosniaks must first show a step forward in relations with Serbia because that is where the problem lies. He also adds that relations between Zagreb, Belgrade, and Sarajevo must be better because the better the relations in that triangle, the more peaceful and stable BiH is.

-I will try to organize a trilateral meeting with representatives of Croatia and Serbia, but in March, said Ivanić.
