Ivanić: Dodik visited foreign embassies begging for support in elections

Appearing on the show Puls BN TV, PDP leader and Alliance for Change candidate for the Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanić stated that the final results from the Central Election Commission of BiH will confirm his victory in the elections, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The PDP leader also said that he does not expect the international factor to influence the formation of government at all levels in BiH.

“The government accused us from the opposition of being favored by the international factor, while the SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, during that time, visited foreign embassies in Sarajevo, promising that after the elections he would be a different person and pursue a completely different policy from the one he promoted in his public appearances,” said Ivanić.

Ivanić believes that forming a government in Republika Srpska will also be difficult. However, whoever prevails, there will be no political instability, but there are fundamental differences in the economic management of this country, the fight against corruption and crime, Ivanić points out.

“All calculations being made now are calculations without the innkeeper. I am convinced that neither of these two coalitions will have 42 MPs (51% in parliament) and that the process of forming the government in Republika Srpska will be quite complex. Now the price for forming the government for SNSD will be very high. And if they want to remain in power, SNSD will pay a very high price, and other parties know this and are playing that card, which will further show the collapse of SNSD,” Ivanić claims.
