More and more women in Bosnia and Herzegovina are driving under the influence of alcohol. These are unofficial data from several ministries of internal affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska is also warning about this phenomenon.
Dr. Avdo Šakušić, a psychologist from Tuzla and one of the leading BiH experts in treating alcohol addiction, told the Patria News Agency that women are finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the accelerated daily routine, after which some of them resort to alcohol.
- Life is becoming increasingly difficult for men as well, and it is even more pronounced for women - says Dr. Šakušić. - Initially, it's one glass, and then it grows into half a liter every day - said Dr. Šakušić, noting that alcohol is certainly a very wrong way to combat daily problems. Dr. Šakušić reminds that in the past, women drove cars much less frequently. Now that the number of female drivers has increased, the number of women driving under the influence of alcohol has also increased, writes NAP.
