Istraga.ba: Konaković met with Edin Gačanin Tito in 2021

(Patria) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH and President of NiP Elmedin Konaković met with Edin Gačanin Tito, leader of the Tito and Dino drug cartel, in Dubai in March 2021, writes the Istraga.ba portal.

This was stated in an "unclassified" scheme compiled by EUROPOL, which was sent to BiH security agencies. The scheme was compiled based on correspondence from the Sky application, i.e., the unpacking of crypto phones used by Edin Gačanin Tito and his bodyguard Dženis Kadrić, who was recently arrested in Sarajevo. Mahir Hodžić, also a NiP official from Novi Grad, traveled with Konaković and his wife Dalija in March 2021. Hodžić's name is also in the EUROPOL scheme, which precisely states that he "traveled together" to Dubai with Konaković.



Istraga.ba is also in possession of Sky correspondence based on which the scheme was compiled, which proves how and through whom the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH Elmedin Konaković traveled to Dubai in March 2021. However, we will publish that correspondence soon.

In addition to Konaković and Hodžić, the EUROPOL document states that the best man of the NiP president, Sarajevo businessman Gordan Memija, is an "associate" of Edin Gačanin Tito.

To recall, businessman Gordan Memija, by his own admission, welcomed Edin Gačanin in Sarajevo in September 2016, rented cars and hotel rooms for him at the Bristol Hotel, and hired members of the FUP to guard Tito. Among the federal police officers who guarded Edin Gačanin Tito in Sarajevo were Dženis Kadrić, Senad Kadić, Aldin Ćatić, Emir Druškić, Ibrahim Miladin, and Dražen Čobović. Čobović is a friend of Elmedin Konaković and Gordan Memija, with whom he also traveled for Hajj.

Dražen Čobović later left the FUP and went to Dubai, where he was Edin Gačanin Tito's bodyguard, but returned to Sarajevo after some time.

One of Edin Gačanin Tito's associates in BiH was Haris Behram from Mostar, who laundered dirty money through the company Gold Product and the citizens' association Brankovac. These companies, among other things, were involved in karting. Behram is directly mentioned in the Sky application as an associate and had direct contacts with Anel Kljako (NES), and was also close to the Mostar branch of SDA (Salem Marić, Adil Šuta, Jasmin Pandur).

In his communications, Behram mentioned SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović, and the former Federal Minister of Internal Affairs and current (NiP) delegate in the House of Peoples of the FBiH, Aljoša Čampara.

According to Istraga's information, Edin Gačanin Tito and his associate Dženis Kadrić stated in Sky communication that it was necessary for them to form a party because they "cannot cooperate seriously" with SDA and Izetbegović. Later, Elmedin Konaković is mentioned in the communication, whom Tito and others reached through businessman Gordan Memija. After that, EUROPOL registered Elmedin Konaković's trip to Dubai. The trip was organized by Edin Gačanin Tito's closest associates, which is documented in the Sky correspondence.
