Investigation will not stop only at Trnka and Hatibović

The Federal Police Administration (FUP) is still intensively investigating the case of the burning of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina building, it was confirmed to the Patria News Agency (NAP) from this institution.

After Nihad Trnka and Salem Hatibović were arrested, suspected of participating in the burning of the Presidency of BiH building, i.e., the Archives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the FUP is in the investigation phase trying to find out if the burning was organized and who the possible organizer is. Trnka and Hatibović are considered to have been part of the immediate perpetrators of the attack on the Presidency of BiH building.

- This is a comprehensive investigation, and when everyone thinks it's over, the police work the most. There will be new arrests, that is undeniable. Intensive work is being done on it – our source from FUP said.

As further revealed, new activities are underway, and the FUP is also on the trail of the masterminds.

- The entire Counter-Terrorism Department within the FUP is involved in the investigation into the burning of the building. I believe the investigation will not be prolonged and that the smallest details of everything that happened on February 7 in Sarajevo will be discovered soon – our source added.

We remind that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the proposal of the BiH Prosecutor's Office and ordered a one-month detention for Salem Hatibović (1959) and Nihad Trnka (1992), suspected of the criminal offense of terrorism.
