IN FRONT OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT Members of 'Justice for David' in Sarajevo seek protection from persecution!

(Patria) - In front of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo today, members of the informal citizens' group "Justice for David", who were unlawfully arrested on July 7 this year in Krajina Square in Banja Luka, and then unlawfully detained for almost 10 hours in police detention units, submitted an appeal to the Constitutional Court of BiH due to serious violations of the articles of the BiH Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights.

"During the gathering, a large number of RS Ministry of Interior police officers appeared, I was ordered to stop the large gathering, although there was no public gathering in progress, when I told them that, they immediately deprived me of my liberty, and after me, nine more people were arrested. We were detained for 10 hours in detention units - both in the center of Banja Luka and outside the city. We were detained without a court order," explained Ozren Perduv, reports the portal Radio Sarajevo.

Because of all this, according to Perduv, together with their lawyers from Banja Luka and with Sarajevo lawyer Ifet Feraget, they decided to file an appeal, which they are submitting to the Constitutional Court of BiH today.

"With the appeal, we want the Constitutional Court of BiH to protect us from the persecution, repression, and discrimination we are experiencing from a dishonorable part of the RS Ministry of Interior. Due to the discrimination we are experiencing, proceedings have already been initiated before the Basic and District Courts in Banja Luka and the Supreme Court of RS," added Perduv.
