Gathering in front of the Youth House at 7 PM in honor of Halid Bešlić

(Patria) - A gathering in front of the Youth House will be organized today at 7 PM in honor of the legendary Halid Bešlić, who passed away at the age of 72 on October 8.

This was a proposal by Bosnian-Herzegovinian set designer Adisa Vatreš Selimović, and the invitation is being shared on social media.

"In front of the Youth House. To cry and sing. Come, bring guitars, speakers, drums, whatever you have. Bring love for Halid," stated journalist Senka Kurt.

The passing of Halid Bešlić is not only a loss for the music scene but for the entire society. Many famous names from the music scene, as well as from all social spheres and public life in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, have bid him farewell.

A commemoration for Halid Bešlić will be held on Monday, October 13, at the National Theatre Sarajevo starting at 11 AM. The funeral prayer will be performed at 1:30 PM at the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, and at 3 PM he will be buried at the Bare city cemetery.
