Departure of coffins from Sarajevo for Srebrenica on July 9

Coffins with 136 identified remains of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide, which will be buried in the Memorial Center in Potočari on July 11, 2015, will depart on 07/09/2015 at 09:00 AM from Visoko, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Departure protocol:
09:00 AM Departure of coffins from Visoko;
09:30 AM Stop of coffins in Vogošća;
10:45 AM Stop of coffins in front of the BiH Presidency building;
11:05 AM Stop of coffins in front of the Monument to the Murdered Children of Sarajevo;
03:00 PM Arrival of coffins in Srebrenica - Potočari.

The funeral prayer for the 136 victims of the genocide will begin at 01:00 PM on July 11, 2015, starting with the noon and afternoon prayers, followed by the funeral prayer.

- We ask all those who plan to attend this sad, most heartbreaking day for all of us this year, to bid farewell to our loved ones in a dignified manner and not to allow anyone or anything to be placed before our victims.

In order to carry out all the planned activities with honor and show that we are dignified regardless of the pain we carry within us, we ask you to plan your arrival at the Memorial Center on July 11, 2015, in the early morning hours, and to fully adhere to the protocols established by the members of the Organizational Committee, police, and ushers - it was announced.

Please keep in mind that there will be traffic jams, so we recommend leaving early and driving carefully. By cooperating with the police and ushers regarding directions, parking, and following instructions, you will greatly contribute to the 136 newly identified victims of the genocide having a deserved farewell.

GRAVE DIGGING HAS BEGUN

In the Potočari Memorial Center, the digging of graves for the burial of 136 remains of victims has begun, carried out by JP "Komemorativni centar" Tuzla, and all excavation preparations should be completed by July 6.
