Survivor's Account: Rivers of Blood Flowed. We All Lay on the Floor, and They Silently Shot Us

French journalist Julien Pearce was in the French concert hall Bataclan at the moment terrorists stormed in and started shooting at the attendees. He told CNN that rivers of blood flowed through the hall, reports the Patria News Agency.

-People were screaming, yelling. It all lasted about ten minutes. Ten horrible minutes during which everyone lay on the floor, covering their heads, he said.

He says that from one of the upper rows where he was, he saw two terrorists, dressed in black, and states that they were quite calm and determined in their intentions.

-They shot randomly, he added. He saw, he says, the face of one attacker. He looked very young to him, no older than 25.

Pearce says he did not hear the attackers say anything, but that they just shot at the people lying on the floor. He managed to escape from the hall at the moment they were reloading their Kalashnikovs with ammunition.

When he got out onto the street, he saw 20 to 25 people lying on the road, some dead, some seriously wounded.

He ran with a teenage girl to a taxi 200 meters away and told the driver to take them to the hospital.

At the moment he was giving the interview to CNN, Pearce said that several of his friends were still in the concert hall with whom he was communicating via SMS messages.
