The rise in the Miljacka river's water level in mid-May, during the unprecedented floods in BiH, brought with it large amounts of garbage. After the Miljacka's level dropped, the consequences are visible. Thus, under the "Požuri polako" bridge, which connects the Academy of Fine Arts and Radićeva Street, there is a huge log that stopped at the very edge of a cascade, marring the river's appearance, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
We remind you that during the record rainfall in the last 120 years, the Miljacka's level rose to 250 cm, so such occurrences should not be surprising. The Drvenija bridge was also closed to pedestrians, and near the Ćumurija bridge, it damaged the protective wall, which is why tram traffic was suspended until Monday, June 2nd.
On the other hand, a little further down between this and the Eiffel bridge, several ducks enjoyed the sunny weather and the clear Miljacka, writes Patria.
