April pension payments start on May 5, pensioners will also receive the difference from regular adjustments for the first three months

(Patria) - In accordance with the Law on MIO/PIO, the payment of pensions for the month of April 2025 will begin on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Based on the Decision of the Management Board of the MIO/PIO Fund on regular adjustments, pensions have been increased by 4.49%, and accordingly, the lowest pension for April is 599.28 KM, the guaranteed pension is 715.21 KM, while the highest pension is limited to five times the lowest pension and amounts to 2,996.40 KM.

The average pension for users of independent pensions, of which there are 370,273 for the April payment, is 759.36 KM.

Given that the regular adjustment is applied retroactively from January 1, 2025, users will also receive the difference between previously paid and increased pensions for the first three months of the current year with the April payment.

A total of 456,103 users will receive the April pension, and the necessary funds, including the differences for the first three months, amount to approximately 348 million KM.

What is interesting is that the number of pensioners has increased compared to March. For March, 454,830 users received a pension, which is 1,273 fewer users than for April.
