Isović dismissed as Director of FBiH Tax Administration

(Patria) - The Federal Government made a decision at today's session to dismiss Šerif Isović from the position of Director of the Tax Administration (PU) of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The reason given is that Isović's term has expired, reports Faktor.ba.

A new director was not appointed at today's session; instead, the Government authorized Admir Omerbašić, head of the cantonal tax office in Tuzla, to perform this duty.

Earlier, the Government decided to announce a competition for the Director of the FBiH Tax Administration, and the competition procedure at the FBiH Civil Service Agency is ongoing.

Muhamed Hasanović (SDP BiH), Deputy Minister of Finance, has been mentioned for some time as the most serious candidate of the 'Trojka' coalition for the position of Director of the FBiH Tax Administration.

According to unofficial information, Isović is also one of those who applied for the competition for a new term.
