"On this occasion, I wish to express my gratitude to all those who placed their trust in me to perform this duty in the past period. I also thank the employees of the Tax Administration for their cooperation, dedicated work and achieved results.

Thanks also go to taxpayers for their payments of public revenues, as well as to international and domestic institutions, media outlets and citizens for their fair cooperation and assistance.

I wish the new director of the Tax Administration successful work, free from the pressures and obstructions to which I was exposed.

Currently, in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are a number of senior officials appointed by the Government of the Federation of BiH who have been performing their duties for extended periods, even several years, without a competition being announced, which, however, is not the case with the position of director of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH.

Also, we have examples of senior civil servants whose mandates were extended without a competition and who, in accordance with the law, should have retired.

Since the establishment of the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, the director and deputy director have always, without exception, been dismissed simultaneously, which is now not the case for the first time.

It is also the first time that a director is being removed during the implementation of a competition procedure. The unequal treatment of officials appointed by the Government represents a clear form of discrimination and violation of employment rights.

In my work, I never made compromises at the expense of the law, justice, truth, rationality and efficiency, nor did I succumb to political, territorial or other interests.

I can proudly state that during my leadership of the Tax Administration, public revenues under its jurisdiction increased annually by over 100% or by over 3.8 billion KM, that payment orders were issued in the amount of over 3.1 billion KM, and that approximately 70,000 inspections were carried out in which additional tax liabilities were determined in an amount exceeding 1.9 billion KM.

The number of fiscal devices increased by 76,530 or 287.63%, and a large number of experts were hired in the Administration, including 90 certified accountants...

I call on the employees of the Tax Administration to continue working and remain committed to building a fair, rational, efficient, respected and transparent Tax Administration, and I call on taxpayers to operate in accordance with the law and, through timely payment of tax obligations, demonstrate the security of their business and love for the homeland," Isović stated.
