Islamic Community in BiH intensifies aid to Gaza's population ahead of Ramadan

(Patria) - The Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina has continued its humanitarian activities to provide aid to the population of Gaza, using the ceasefire to ensure as much aid as possible reaches those in need.



Muhamed Jusić, Director of the Directorate for External Relations of the Riyaset of the Islamic Community in BiH, emphasized that aid has been intensified ahead of Ramadan, with the aim of providing as much support as possible while it is still feasible.



- We are preparing hot meals in cooperation with partner organizations and working on delivering other forms of aid, including food, tents, medicines, and medical equipment.



The situation in northern Gaza is particularly difficult, where refugees have returned to completely destroyed settlements. They need all kinds of assistance - Jusić stated.



The Islamic Community also provided very active assistance to the suffering population in Gaza during the previous Ramadan. Hot meals and iftars were prepared, and every opportunity was used to deliver aid to as many people as possible through partner organizations.



Current activities will continue during the blessed month of Ramadan.



Let us recall, the Islamic Community has so far secured over 3.5 million KM for Gaza, and has distributed significant amounts of humanitarian aid on the ground, including food packages, hygiene supplies, and water, with special attention paid to ensuring aid for hospitals and medical centers.



The humanitarian activities of the Islamic Community in BiH are carried out in cooperation with international organizations, to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most quickly and efficiently.
