
(Patria) - A meeting was held yesterday in the Jablanica Municipality building between the head of the Office for Social Care of the Riyasat of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ibrahim ef. Malanović, the president of "Merhamet" BiH, Kenan Vrbanjac, and the municipal mayor, Emir Muratović, where they discussed the construction of complete houses for families who lost their homes during the recent floods in our country, Anadolu reports.
It is planned that the houses will be built in the Donja Jablanica area, and the project will be financed by the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina from funds specifically collected in cooperation with "Merhamet".
Muratović said that activities to find locations for housing construction will be carried out in the coming days, and that an agreement has been reached with the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering in Tuzla to prepare a study that should provide answers regarding the assessment of the vulnerability of the stability of projects and areas affected by floods in the Jablanica municipality area.
It was agreed that concrete proposals for the construction of residential houses in the Donja Jablanica area will be presented at a meeting to be held in the next ten days.
At the beginning of the month, a similar meeting was held with the leadership of the Konjic Municipality, where a house construction project will also be implemented.
The Islamic Community will also use the collected funds to help families affected by floods in the municipalities of Fojnica, Kreševo and Kiseljak.
