EXPLOITATION OF MINORS Seven arrested, including police officers, handed over to the TK Prosecutor's Office

(Patria) - Seven people arrested yesterday in the area of TK, including four police officers from the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of TK, have been handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton.

During the day, they will be questioned, after which the Prosecutor's Office should decide whether to propose custody.

In yesterday's operation that shook the Tuzla Canton, seven people were arrested on suspicion of being involved in inducing minors into prostitution. Among them are police officers in high positions.

The Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation, and the Government of the Tuzla Canton has already dismissed one of the suspects from his position.

As announced by the Prosecutor's Office of that canton, all individuals are suspected of the criminal offense of 'human trafficking', which is related to the exploitation of children under 18 for prostitution.

At least two minors are victims of this criminal offense.
