Išerić to Blinken: The same forces from 1992 are persistently working to achieve the same goals, take action before it's too late

(Patria) - U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken criticized the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stating that by signing laws rejecting the High Representative's authority, he is violating the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement.

"The U.S. supports the Office of the High Representative (OHR), as well as the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and multi-ethnic character of Bosnia and Herzegovina," Blinken stated.

(Patria) - The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, by signing laws rejecting the High Representative's authority, is violating the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and undermining the Dayton Peace Agreement. U.S. Secretary of State Anton stated this on social media.

Legal expert Enver Išerić responded to Blinken's statements, urging him to correct the Dayton errors.

"The United States of America is a proven friend of our country. It is also a fact that the U.S., through the Dayton Peace Agreement, stopped the aggression against our country.

The same forces from 1992 have the same goals and are persistently working to achieve them, which is the destruction and division of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Therefore, Mr. Blinken, urgent and concrete actions are needed to prevent a new conflict which, if all individuals who are dismantling the Dayton Peace Agreement are not removed from the political scene, is inevitable. Take action before it's too late.

The state in which Bosnia and Herzegovina has been for almost three decades speaks of the errors in the Dayton Agreement.

It is time, Mr. Blinken, to correct these errors and organize Bosnia as a democratic and functional state.
