Isak: FBiH Government requested cantonal MUPs to conduct medical examinations of police officers within three months

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the proposal of the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak, adopted a conclusion requesting cantonal ministries of internal affairs to conduct medical examinations of all police officers as soon as possible.

The conclusion stated that during the medical examinations, which should be completed as soon as possible, and within a maximum of three months, special focus should be placed on the psychological health of police officers.

It was also recommended that medical examinations of police officers be conducted in cantonal public health institutions.

We remind you that at the beginning of their mandate, in 2023, the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak and the Director of the Federal Police Administration Vahidin Munjić agreed that medical examinations of all police officers of the Federal Police Administration would be carried out.

The stance of Minister Isak and Director Munjić was that this represents the most important priority for which financial resources must be secured.

In accordance with this, funds in the amount of 220,000 KM for medical examinations of police officers of the Federal Police Administration of the Federal MUP have been planned and secured in the budget for 2024, and these will begin soon.
