Isak Responds to Dodik and Čović: BiH Will Not Be Divided Nor Its Constitutional Order Collapsed Due to Someone's Frustrations

(Patria) - Following the meeting between Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, presidents of SNSD and HDZ BiH in Banja Luka today, and the scandalous announcement that BiH "needs three entities", meaning FBiH should be divided into a "Muslim and Croatian part", the only reaction from the Federation of BiH came from the Minister of Internal Affairs of FBiH, Ramo Isak.

"Regarding the latest statements by Milorad Dodik about the 'division of the Federation of BiH' and alleged 'revenge by Bosniaks', I am obliged to clearly state several facts that do not concern politics, but the legal and constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mr. Dodik has no say in the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor in the Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina is an internationally recognized state with clearly defined institutions and a constitutional-legal order, and no one – especially a legally convicted politician without a state function – has the right or jurisdiction to call for the dismantling of its constitutional order.

Statements about the 'division of the Federation of BiH' and 'religious revenge' are not just political stances of a failing politician; they are dangerous and irresponsible messages that insult common sense. His rhetoric speaks not of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but of himself: of a man who has been waging a personal war against truth, justice, and his own people, on whose suffering he has built his family fortune.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be divided, nor will its constitutional order be collapsed under the weight of someone's frustrations. The fact that Milorad Dodik is not the president of the BiH entity of Republika Srpska today best proves that the constitutional order exists.

It is confirmed daily through the work of institutions, through laws that apply to everyone, and through the readiness of its citizens to live together, regardless of who it bothers. In this country, no one is taking revenge on 'Christians' except perhaps those who have long been taking revenge on their own people, spending their resources, dignity, and future. Bosnia and Herzegovina is and will be a state of free people and laws, not political improvisations and threats. Those who do not understand this should read the BiH Constitution.

And if even that is too much for him, it is enough to remember that his career was ended by a court. The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because he was dismantling the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina," Isak stated.
