Isak on Nikšić and Munjidž correspondence: Interesting for the public and for judicial and police bodies

(Patria) - The correspondence that leaked from the investigation file, which certainly did not come from the Federal Police Administration, nor from the FUP, is interesting for the public, but also for the judicial and police bodies themselves. Therefore, we will gladly contribute to shedding light on all the important circumstances related to it together with the competent institutions, said the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak.

"We also want to send a clear message in this way that the FUP has shown full readiness to deal with all the security challenges that have been numerous recently. We also consider it important to emphasize that we have never been exposed to any pressure from the Prime Minister or anyone else from the Government of FBiH that would be aimed at attempting to influence investigations. The mentioned events cannot and will not affect the functioning of one of the most successful security agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina - the Federal Police Administration in any way.

During the previous three years, the FUP has implemented a number of projects and activities that have enabled the Federal Police Administration to function flawlessly today. European standards have been implemented in all segments of operation, and the focus of everything has been solely and exclusively on the police officer.

The condition in the Federal Police Administration is best described by police officers who, during the previous three years, within the legally prescribed procedures, came from other police agencies because, as they claim: what they have here, they did not have anywhere else. This certainly applies to working conditions, but also to the attitude towards the police officer, who has been enabled to feel like a human being, not just a number in statistical records and analyses.

The fact that standards in the Federal Police Administration have been raised to the highest possible level is also evidenced by the number of applications for competitions, especially from other police agencies. Regardless of everything that is currently happening, the Federal Police Administration will remain an organizational example, and the standards it applies will continue to be unattainable for numerous other police agencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is very important, primarily for the citizens, who must know that security is not compromised, regardless of everything, and that it will remain so," Isak stated.
