Ireland provides 50,000 euros for vaccines and psychological support for children

Ireland will provide humanitarian aid worth 50,000 euros to organizations working to normalize the situation in BiH, Serbia, and Croatia after the catastrophic floods, writes the Irish portal The Journal, reports the news agency Patria.

The article, published today, states that around 150,000 people have been evacuated from these three countries and that this is the largest population exodus since the wars of the 1990s.

- The Irish government has decided to do what it can and has secured these funds to provide psychological support and counseling services to children affected by the floods, as well as for vaccines to prevent epidemics of infectious diseases that threaten the areas after the floods, according to a statement from the Minister of Trade and Development of Ireland, Joe Costello.

The funds will be provided through the office of the organization World Vision in Ireland, which also exists in Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports NAP.
