Iraqi Parliament Decides US Forces Must Leave the Country

IRAQ, (Patria) - The Iraqi Parliament today decided that US forces must leave the country.

In an extraordinary session, it was decided by a majority vote that the United States of America (USA) and other foreign forces must leave Iraq.

A statement from the Parliament also stated that the Iraqi government is obliged to implement the aforementioned decision.

Shia MPs in the Iraqi parliament chanted slogans of "Stop USA" and "Occupiers, get out" after the vote.

We remind you that Iranian General Qassem Soleimani was killed in Iraq, and on Saturday, shells were fired at the Green Zone in Baghdad, where the US Embassy and other foreign embassies are located. A US military base was also targeted by rockets. US President Donald Trump announced that they have identified 52 Iranian targets.
