Inzko discusses BiH with Palmer in Berlin

BERLIN, (Patria) - During his visit to Berlin on 8 September 2020, High Representative Valentin Inzko met with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and Special Representative
for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer to discuss the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The High Representative used this opportunity to highlight the current challenges in the implementation process of the Peace Agreement and emphasize the need for key political actors in Bosnia and Herzegovina to focus on future-oriented programmatic activities, such as economic development and strengthening institutional capacities.

High Representative Inzko stressed the importance of the international community maintaining a unified stance, with an emphasis on helping domestic political forces make progress in implementing future-oriented activities.

"The agreement on elections in Mostar is a good example of results achieved by domestic politicians with coordinated and concentrated support from international partners," said the High Representative.
