Inzko and Sobotka on the situation in BiH: The number of young people leaving is alarming

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - High Representative Valentin Inzko met in Sarajevo with the President of the National Council of the Austrian Parliament Wolfgang Sobotka. They discussed the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The High Representative stressed that “the time has come to end political bickering and start addressing issues related to the daily lives of citizens in BiH." 

"Instead of just talking about EU integration, the authorities should genuinely do the job, including everything needed to gradually pull BiH out of international supervision. The number of young people leaving this country is alarming. This issue must be addressed directly and without delay, as it equally affects everyone in BiH.”

The High Representative used this opportunity to thank Sobotka for Austria's continued support and commitment to Bosnia and Herzegovina, including EUFOR.
