Inzko: We will do everything in our power to help the citizens of BiH

A safe and just society can be built "only if elected leaders focus all their energy on the practical and complex problems that need to be solved and on positive and constructive things that need to be done," said High Representative Valentin Inzko today during a commemoration held at Prokoško lake, marking the helicopter crash in which 12 officials of the OHR and UN died 19 years ago, reports Patria agency.

- We have gathered here today to pay tribute to our brave colleagues, and on this occasion, I want to publicly reiterate the commitment of the international community to support Bosnia and Herzegovina - said the High Representative.

- We will continue to do everything in our power to help the citizens of this country. We will continue to make efforts even if the rhetoric and policies that call for division and rely on the past distract us, we know what our mission is and we know what our goal is: the future of this country. We will continue to work because, in the end, despite every challenge, despite every setback, the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will prevail. They will build a just society, they will build a safe and modern democracy. And we will help them in that - said Inzko.
